Where have I been? Part 1

kyle bryantComment

Well lately I haven't done a great job of keeping people informed about where I have been or what I have been doing so here is detailed recap of the last few months.

I got back from Barcelona in May, I miss the city and the people that I left there every single day. I moved back to Maine where I currently live with my mom, and shortly after that I turned 30. I thought that 30 would be awesome because most years have gotten better the older that I get and it definitely started out that way.

Quickly after coming back to the U.S. I went to New York City where I connected with some friends that I hadn't seen in a long time, and just tried to feel the pulse of New York. The city has always been exciting and intimidating to me, but I instantly felt motivated to make moves, network and be a part of New York. After just 2 short weeks though I had to go back to Maine because I didn't plan to stay in NY for longer than a couple weeks. Without a full time job there was just no way I was going to be able to afford being there any longer. Am I thinking about moving to NY? Certainly.

When I was in New York I went to a ton of galleries, went to see some music shows, walked around and met a bunch of cool people. One of the goals of the trip was to photograph some prints of New York City architetcture that I made. The idea was to capture them in their "natural environment".

Immediately after getting back from NYC I left again to follow some clues out to Colorado, more on that later.
